Johann Johannsson
American Contemporary Music Ensemble (Acme), with Gilded Globe-winning and Oscar-nominated composer Jóhann Jóhannsson and Grammy-winning vocal ensemble Roomful of Teeth, will give the world premiere of Jóhann's Drone Mass in the Met's magnificent Temple of Dendur. The work is commissioned by Top in commemoration of the grouping's tenth ceremony. Jóhann'south Chaconne for solo violin opens the concert, in its earth premiere performance by Yuki Numata Resnick.

In addition to this new work they perform Gyorgy Kurtag'south Bagatelles Op. I4Id for flute, double bass, and piano, and Frederic Rzewski's Bondage for narrator and ensemble.
